We are looking for a Maintenance Administrator who will be responsible for providing a high-quality administrative service across a range of activities within our Maintenance team.

Newydd Housing Association is a charitable housing association, that offers nearly 3,000 affordable homes for rent and sale to people where need is at its greatest in Mid and South Wales, working in several local authority areas.

Newydd Maintenance Ltd (NML) is built on an in-house contractor model, designed to drive quality customer services, whilst achieving substantial planned growth and expansion, potentially outside of the group.  NML is a subsidiary company which provides maintenance services to Newydd Housing Association.

The Maintenance Administrator will provide administrative support to enable the smooth running of the repairs and maintenance activities, whilst also providing a high level of customer service to our tenants.

The Maintenance Administrator duties will include monitoring emails, recording data for vehicle trackers, timesheets, receipts, etc, producing agendas and minutes for team meetings and various other ad-hoc admin duties as required by the Maintenance Planners and Managers. You will also need to provide cover for the Maintenance Planner team during any absence.

This is a varied and challenging role and you must be able to multitask and prioritise work as well as have the confidence to work on your own initiative to problem solve. You will need to be educated to GCSE standard, with some experience of providing admin support and a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Great customer service and communication skills are essential for this role as are exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

The most important thing we are looking for is an experienced administrator with a can-do attitude. At NML we expect high standards of work and the ability to be flexible, innovative and solution focused is important to us. Central to the way you work should be the desire to finish jobs “right first time”. So, if you are looking to be part of our team then we want to hear from you!
