About Us

Newydd Housing Association provides nearly 3,000 homes across Mid and South Wales.  As a charitable organisation, our vision is to deliver affordable homes and support sustainable communities, taking considerable pride in the excellent services we provide for all our tenants and customers.

We want to be known as a beacon of excellence in everything that we do. Already an ambitious and financially strong organisation, we are determined to continue developing and improving. Yet it is a challenging time across our sector as we face the economic difficulty of the cost-of-living crisis, the significant investment levels needed to decarbonise of our homes and increasing our provision of more affordable housing that is needed more than ever.

About the role

We are now seeking to recruit our next Finance & Resources Director who can rise to this challenge and turn our bold plans into financial success. We are looking for a compassionate, people focused and performance driven leader who is able to seize new opportunities and strategically manage key areas of the organisation: Finance, People and Technology to the benefit of todays and tomorrow’s customers.

About you

Innovative and engaging, you will be capable of making a real impact at Newydd and be excited to develop your role and career beyond your first specialism of Finance. Treasury management experience is important along with a proven track record of delivering continuous improvement and high-quality services. Though not essential experience within the social housing sector is beneficial along with an understanding of the Wales regulatory framework.  Most importantly, you’ll share our passion for collaborative partnership working and putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.

Closing date for applications: 23:00pm, Monday 10 October 2022
