An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award winning and innovative housing association and our tenant focused Property Team.  We are looking for a self-motivated and innovative individual, to act as a central point for the procurement and management of our cyclical maintenance contracts.

Newydd Housing Association is an award-winning organisation that currently owns and manages around 3,000 rented properties in mid and south Wales, working in several local authority areas.

About the role

The Compliance Officer role will ensure Newydd and its managing agent clients are legally compliant by managing all cyclical maintenance contracts and management plans relating to fire, asbestos and legionella.

The Compliance Officer position is a busy, varied and challenging role and you must be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge coupled with effective planning and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and to work on your initiative. You will be an effective communicator and team player with good IT skills.

About you

A relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience in a construction related subject is essential for this role, along with experience of procurement of building works and contract administration of cyclical maintenance contracts.

You will need a driving licence and have the use of a car every working day. The post is subject to a Basic Disclosure and is subject to a renewal disclosure check every three years.
