About Us
The Cadarn Housing Group is the parent company with Cadwyn Housing Association, Newydd Housing Association, Living Quarters (Lettings and Sales) Wales Ltd, and Igneous as subsidiaries.
Cadarn Housing Group is the parent of the Group and provides oversight and support services role. Newydd Housing Association is a charitable housing association, that offers over 3,000 affordable homes for rent and sale to people where need is at its greatest in Mid and South Wales, working in several local authority areas. Cadwyn Housing Association owns and manages 2,000 homes for affordable rent and low-cost home ownership as well as a range of community regeneration initiatives.
About you
We are looking for a Cleaner who is reliable, flexible and has a 'can do' attitude. As our Cleaner you will be responsible for providing a high quality cleaning service at our Independent Living housing complexes and properties, throughout the Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and Valleys area.
Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable for this role, although not essential. Most important is someone who takes pride in their work and is able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene whilst providing an exceptional service to our tenants and customers.
As Cleaner your work will be assigned to you via a handheld tablet device, so whilst full training will be given, you should be comfortable using such a device in your daily work.
This is a demanding and challenging customer service delivery role, and you should enjoy working under your own initiative and managing a busy workload, whilst also being a team player with great customer service and communication skills.

This role will be working a 16hr week in and around the Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan and Valleys area and a full manual driving license is essential, a company van may be provided.
There will be regular opportunities for overtime to cover holiday/sickness absence. The job is also subject to a Disclosure Barring Service (CRB) Check and a renewal check every three years.
